My journey into fitness didn’t start with a big plan or a lifelong dream to open a gym. When I left uni in 2016 I felt pretty lost. I took a job because it felt like the sensible next step, but deep down I knew it wasn’t right for me. Around the same time, my own fitness and confidence had taken a hit. I’d gained weight, lost my routine, and didn’t feel comfortable in my own skin.

Finding boxing was the turning point.

At first, it was just an outlet. A place to switch my head off and work hard. But over time, it gave me something I was missing structure, discipline, and belief in myself again. That experience is what pushed me into personal training.I didn’t feel ready. I doubted myself constantly. But I knew how much training had helped me mentally and physically, and I wanted to help other people feel that same sense of confidence and pride.

Over the last nine years, that passion grew into BootyBox. Not from a business plan, but from years of coaching, learning, and genuinely caring about the people I worked with. I wanted to create a space that felt supportive and welcoming especially for people who had maybe lost confidence in themselves.

In September, my life changed again when I became a Dad which is the best thing that’s ever happened to me.

Becoming a father has completely shifted my perspective. Now it’s about balance. Being present. And being the best version of myself for my family. That mindset shapes how I train, how I coach, and how I run BootyBox.

At its core, BootyBox exists to help women feel capable again. Not perfect. Not pressured. Just stronger, more confident, and supported in a way that fits their real life.
